Monday, March 13, 2006The Twilight ZoneThere is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of politics in America. It is an area which we call the WTF?!! Zone. WTF?!!! In North Carolina Vernon Robinson a former Winston-Salem City Councilman running running for congress in North Carolina’s 13th District. Not a big deal right? No not really except when you see the man’s campaign commercial. At first I thought this commercial was a parody. No way Jose it’s the real deal. In the commercial a homage to the classic TV series Rod Serling’s “The Twilight Zone” this Johnson attacks illegal aliens, homosexuals, blacks, pro choice, all in the name of “traditional American values”. WTF?!!! Robinson said, “My candidacy provides the taxpayers of the 13th District with the best opportunity to elect a Congressman who will represent their views in Washington. God help us if the majority of people in his district do share his views. For your viewing pleasure… Labels: politics 6 comment from: Emory Mayne, Just Jane, Mia, Leah, Goggles Piasano Ritardo, Mia,
