Tuesday, April 19, 2011The stuff great laughs are born of.
One of the things I love about NYC it is the fact that strangers will not hesitate to jump into your convo as if they were life long friends. It has been my experience that those brief moments are the stuff great laughs are born of.
My friend and I were discussing a trip an up coming trip we’re taking. As we finalized our plans my friend jumped up and down and yelled, “I’m so excited!” Without missing a beat one of the two queens who were slightly behind us “And you just can’t hide it!” they yelled.
I laughed and remembered the lyrics to the Pointer sisters’ song they were quoting and quickly offered up the next lyric, “She’s about to about to lose control and I think she likes it!” One of the queens saluted me, winked and threw back his head in laughter.
