Soft drink buzz...


Sometimes you just read a news item and have to laugh this is the one that did it for me today: A police officer in Hamtramck, Michigan has been charged with using a Taser on his partner during an argument over whether they should stop for a soft drink. The officer Ronald Dupuis, 32, a six-year veteran was fired after the Nov. 3 incident when he and his partner Prema Graham began arguing after Dupuis demanded she stop their patrol car at a store so he could buy a soft drink. While arguing they struggled over the steering wheel, and Dupuis hit her leg with his department-issued Taser, she was not seriously hurt but now he is facing assault charges that can land him in jail for 3 months.
