Kennedy & Lincoln: A WTF post...





This is one of those WTF things in life, and it has to do with Presidents Kennedy and Lincoln and the weird parallels in their lives . It means absolutely nothing unless we can connect President Bush to it BUT it’s fun to read… and go “ohhhh wow wtf?!”… enjoy

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were concerned with civil rights.
Both first ladies lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

And the plot thickens……

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

But wait there's more ! Both assassins had and used three names, and both of their names had a total of 15 letters.. go on count them then read the rest of the post….

Lee Harvey Oswald / John Wilkes Booth

I can hear the theme from the twilight zone now….

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

And here is the cherry on the ice cream for ya….

Lincoln was shot in a theatre and the assassin ran to a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theatre.
